Alkira offer Respite services, also known as Short Term Accommodation (STA), for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Our Short Term Accommodation is available to book every day of the year, with a minimum stay of one night. This service is provided from a serviced apartment located in Doncaster. However, the location can be adjusted to other locations in Inner East Melbourne based on your specific needs. We cater to dietary requirements and can support medication administration.

Alkira’s Short Term Accommodation Service supports many families and strives to accommodate requests wherever possible. We require an assessment and trial process before you can book your first night with us. This is to ensure we are able to provide the necessary level of support, ensure suitability and so you can meet our support staff.
